Taras V. Kochno, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Taras Kochno serves as the Medical Director of Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital and brings more than 30 years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, post-acute care, and healthcare leadership. A board-certified physiatrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he has led medical rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and integrated healthcare organizations throughout his career.

Dr. Kochno has extensive expertise in medical rehabilitation program development, clinical operations, quality improvement, and physician leadership. He previously served as Chief Clinical Operating Officer and Corporate Medical Director, overseeing clinical services across a large post-acute care network.

In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Kochno has held academic appointments at Loyola University, Mercer University School of Medicine, and LECOM Osteopathic School of Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McMaster University Hospitals in Ontario, Canada.
